Kylie Bellard

Seattle, WA

Kylie Bellard is a queer, feminist social worker in Seattle, WA. She has a bachelor's degree in Metropolitan Studies from New York University and is a Master of Social Work student at the University of Washington with a focus on mental health. As a longtime Soham supporter, Kylie has become increasingly invested in how artistic practice can connect us with our humanity and be a vehicle for personal and collective transformation.

Anjal Chande

Chicago, IL

Anupa Gewali

Seattle, WA

Anupa Gewali is a former Soham Dance Space student. After leaving Chicago, Anupa worked for Adhikaar, a Queens based worker center that serves and organizes the Nepali speaking immigrant and refugee community in New York City and across the world. Anupa’s time at Adhikaar shaped her belief in the strength of grassroots organizing, and left her with a commitment to understand how resources, policy and power can be shifted to meet the needs of systematically marginalized groups. Anupa is currently a graduate student at the University of Washington School of Public Health and hopes to continue working on interdisciplinary and creative approaches to address mental health disparities.

Tina Lulla

Chicago, IL

Tina Lulla became a part of the Soham Dance Space Community in 2010 when she joined the first adult bharatanatyam class. Since then she has been involved in a variety of capacities and her favorite contribution has been being the arts and crafts teacher at summer dance camp. Tina is a high school teacher and after working in the Chicago Public Schools for 11 years, she now teaches Chemistry at Evanston Township High School. She is a passionate educator with a strong focus on racial equity in and out of the classroom. She also believes in making service work a part of her life and often organizes service projects for her students and her friends.
