FAQ: What style of yoga do you teach?
Soham Dance Space teaches classical yoga rooted in spiritual intention. Modern style names have immerged only in recent history and simply describe an approach to developing an asana practice. Our classes incorporate an understanding of the purpose behind all approaches to asana (i.e. alignment, sequencing, etc) while keeping our focus on the scriptural source from which yoga is prescribed (Pathanjali's Yoga Sutras and the preceding Bhagavad Geeta, Upanishads, Vedas, all thousands of years old).
